It was my parents 55th wedding anniversary. They were all amazing. The entire staff was just wonderful and the food was delicious! Kevin, the bartender, Deborah, our waitress and Andy I think was in the kitchen the owner everything was delicious and very reasonably priced for all the drinks and food we ordered!

Definitely a quirky location. Love the supper club atmosphere. Didn't sit at bar as I was with me daughter but cool. The were great answering questions via messenger. Menu is not huge but we knew that. Filet was spot on and rare Iike ordered. My daughter loved it too. Service was great. Will definitely be back.

This is an exceptional restaurant with an exceptional dining experience. The service is personal and friendly. The meals were prepared as only the best chefs could. I would recommend an early reservation before the crowds arrive.

Stop Scrolling and Read This Review. I’ve given a lot of thought to this review and I want you the reader to really pay attention to this one. Let’s state the obvious. You saw I gave The Jackson Grill 5 Stars across the board and I stand by that but I think the Jackson Grill is special. I was recently in Milwaukee for business. We ate out for each meal in numerous places. We ate both traditional restaurants as well another Supper Club All of them were great. No complaints but I didn’t enjoy any of them as much as I enjoyed The Jackson Grill. Let’s start with the Bar. First thing I look at is if the Bar is well stocked with a variety of spirits. I was very pleased to see that besides a variety of other tasty Whiskeys they also had The Glenfiddich 14 of which I happily consumed! The Bar Keep was Kevin and was able to make a Vesper for my work associate and I know he was quite pleased. As important as a well stocked and pleasant Bar Tender is it’s also equally important to have the right regulars to set the tone for the bar and the rest of the establishment. I’m happy to report that we had great conversations with the other patrons of the bar. It seemed like quite the diverse of locals but everyone was friendly and engaging. It was a super nice experience. Next up is the food. I’m just going to say, the Ribeye was fantastic, get the garlic mashed potatoes. You won’t be disappointed. We had some type of saucy shrimp appetizer that was insanely great. Let’s go back to that Ribeye for a minute. Was the ribeye insanely good to eat? Yes without a doubt. Was it huge? Again, yes it was. Did it have a fancy sauce like they might serve in France? Hell NO! However it did have a simple au jus that was seasoned and tasted amazing. Truthfully making something simple but taste amazing is truly art. I believe the Chef’s name is Jason (I may be wrong about this, I”m terrible with names and I apologize) but Jason the Chef is definitely an artist with food. So a restraunt, is more than a bar and more than just the food, it’s the entire place. It’s been a week or two and I don’t remember everyone’s name but the staff are just amazing. Our server made us feel like a long last cousin coming home. She was friendly but not fake, she made sure that we were well taken care of with food and drink but didn’t interrupt our conversation. She was amazing. Another staff made our creme brulee and came out to make sure it was to our liking and that everything was okay. It was more than okay, it was delicious. The chef came out at the end of the night to ask about our meal and to chat. It was an honor. What i didn’t mention is that we were referred to the The Jackson Grill from our hotel’s front desk. We went in blind and didn’t know what to expect. We called, got reservations for 9 but showed up a little after 8, had drinks and then dinner. Although they close at 10 we stayed until at least 11. We apologized for losing track of time, between talking work, the amazing food and the super nice and friendly staff time just got away from us. They were super nice about it and sat down and just talked to us like regular people, not rushing us or giving us any sort of bad attitude. A few other random tidbits to know. 1. The dining room is small so make sure you make reservations! 2, The wine list is very good and didn’t disappoint. 3. The decor is... unique. If your like me and live in LA (ughh) don’t let it fool you. Yes, it feels very homey but it’s awesome and different. I mentioned above the staff makes you feel like family and the decor makes you feel like you’re coming home. I hope they never change it. To be clear, Milwaukee has many fine restaurants and supper clubs. However this is the one that I’ll make sure that I visit EVERY TIME I VISIT MILWAUKEE! I think you should as well.

This place is a hidden gem. Steak was cooked properly and had an awesome char on the steak. Added a side of a couple of scallops, and they were perfectly cooked. The scallops melted in the mouth. For dessert, we tried the creme brulee, which I don't order at most places, since its usually not made right. This place actually made it right. The top was caramelized perfect, great crunch to it, and the creamy custard was velvety and had a wonderful vanilla flavor. Our friend who has had steak all over the world, noted to the chef, that the steak was the best he has had.

Had a lovely dinner at The Jackson Grill last night. The amazing vibe in that place! Love sitting at the bar to eat always because Kevin, the bartender is a show too. We had dirty martinis and some cosmos. For food, we ordered: Tournedos Three peppercorn crusted Medallions a la portabella e creme bordelaise Filet with portabella Seared scallops with risotto (I have no idea how I didn’t get a picture of this!) Chef knocked it out of the park with all of these proteins. Love that nothing has changed! The salads we had were very fresh with housemade dressings. This supper club has such old school energy that I’m in love with. Food and cocktails are perfect.

As good as it ever was. This place was a treat for my family growing up so we were quite sad to see the passing of Mr. Jackson. The restaurant however has reopened and is in good hands. We recently came for dinner and had an amazing meal in an unchanged and amazing setting. It was a really nice experience to come back to.
